Modern and ancient schools of spirituality uphold an idea that our consciousness must travel somewhere else to know God, to experience enlightenment. The belief that truth is not here in this moment will forever keep a person from genuine Realization.
We must transcend this fundamental flaw in spirituality. We must have the courage and the wisdom to meet this present moment fully, without resistance and with total trust. Humanity must learn how to experience the life directly and without the false self interferring.

Of course it is here, how can not be here and be true in a same time?
However for the ego it is not here and never will be, for the similar reason. How can that which is one moment here, and the next is not here be eternal truth?
That which has experience of truth does not need any recognition of it, because that would be absurd since it is that truth itself.
That which sees itself separate in a fundamental way through the very act of perception, can not have any recognition of the truth. How can a snake realize that it is actually a rope?
To say otherwise is like saying that the snake should turn around and see the rope behind it, and that all the colors of the snake come from that rope, hence the colors are as well the rope. When actually there is only a rope and no snake whatsoever. The snake comes from the darkness of ignorance, and when removed it is obvious that it is not even a living thing. (Theoreticaly, because there is no one to see the ego dying, the Self is not at any point aware of the ego).
