I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. (Rev 22:13) In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was without form or shape, with darkness over the abyss and a mighty wind sweeping over the waters. Then God said: Let there be light, and there was light. God saw that the light was good. God then separated the light from the darkness. (Gen 1:1)

From Alpha to Omega, from Nothingness into Creation and back to Nothingness – is this the purpose of our spiritual journey of enlightenment?

We are all born into creation by the Will of God. The soul’s deepest desire is to know God. Does this mean that we are here to seek God as the original state of nothingness, the spiritual void? Are we here to transcend the our bodies and ascend beyond this world?

The spiritual journey of the soul is a return to true wisdom and knowledge of God. All of creation began as nothingness, the darkness, the void. Is the spiritual experience of the void, the purpose of meditation and spiritual enlightenment?
