The Spiritual Breath of God

The breath is the most powerful spiritual tool that we have. In this Channel Higher Self video, you will learn why the breath has always been regarded the most effective tool for spiritual growth in all genuine spiritual traditions. Every ancient spiritual tradition – like yoga, Buddhism, Taoism, shamanism and others – have in their recorded teachings the importance of understanding and working with the breath.

Ancient cultures considered the breath our spirit. Even the modern day words for breathing – inspiration, expiration, respiration – share the Latin root ‘spiritus’ – a term meaning both spirit and breath. Many ancient cultures knew the importance of the breath for life. However today much of this meaning has been forgotten.

In this Channel Higher Self video you will be inspired to remember the role that breathing plays in your life and how something as simple as your breath holds the key to your relationship with God. Learn how you breath can quiet your mind, calm your emotions, relax your body and enliven your Spirit. Countless spiritual traditions and teachings emphasize the importance of the breath in your body. Learn why in this Higher Self video.

Many blessings and much Love!

Lincoln, your message reminded me to put more focus on my breath throughout my daily activities. I focus on my Spiritual Heart and breath from time to time during the day, ‘but’ really need to do it a lot more often. Staying focused on my breath more often will help me to remain in the meditative state, relaxed and in the present moment, despite what goes on around me. Focus on the breath is such an important yet simple practice that I can use throughout my day to remain in a state of awareness. Thanks for another awesome message about how to live in our natural state of Oneness, Love and Bliss!

    Love and Blessings,

    Adrienne

  2. Lincoln says:

The more we remind ourselves to focus on our breath or Spiritual Heart, the easier it becomes to stay there for longer periods of time and more frequently during the day. It is as easy as starting a new habit. We can also make set times to focus on these areas of ourselves – such as while we eat and after we eat, while we prepare our meals, while we drive, while we brush our teeth, in the shower, etc. By combining this meditative practice of breath awareness with everyday task that are simple to perform, we can greatly increase our inner peace, inner happiness, and meditative clarity. We can be creative with how we integrate our spiritual practices with our daily and learn how the two need not be separate. Blessings and Love Adrienne. Namaste.
