    This video is wonderful. Lately, I’ve been getting burned out on reading in forums, where discussions get so convoluted, that it sounds like the participants are just going in circles. Discussions on what you speak of here seem to be the only ones I can read anymore. I realize that you spoke about this in countless videos that you’ve done, but this one really clicked.     Hi Judy,

    What you are witnessing is the monkey mind. This is when the thoughts go in repeating patterns and jump from one topic to the next. This is a common behavior of the mind. Only by quieting our mind through meditation can a person begin to step out of the patterns of thought and view the mind as an external process. When a person is identified with the mind, they are “in it” and will have difficulty recognizing these patterns.

    The key to mind transcendence is realizing and remaining in the I AM state of awareness. This will give a person the position necessary to see the mind as an outside impersonal object, thus giving one the potential for genuine mind mastery.
