How the Ego Tries to Stop the Process of Purification and Healing

During spiritual growth, personal growth and healing often we experience resistance and refusal to change from the personal ego. At times the ego’s fight against us can be so strong or so deceptive that the ego wins and we continue to suffer illness, disease and spiritual ignorance. Why is it so difficult to overcome the ego? Why can healing and spiritual growth be so difficult to achieve? Learn what you can do to more easily overcome your spiritual and health obstacles?

In this Satsang with the Self video, you will be taught how the personal ego creates itself in your human experience and what the ego does to preserve it’s own existence, at the expense of your own personal freedom and happiness. Learn how to watch the ego’s behavior in your so that you can remain as your True Self and no longer be tricked or manipulated. Understand why it is the ego’s resistance to change that is often the cause of your prolonged suffering and illness, and your failed attempts to create permanent health and lasting happiness.

Many blessings and much Love!

Wow, Lincoln…I really enjoyed this message about the ego and purification! It really helped me to realize how much I allow my ego to control me. Sometimes I find it hard to separate from my ego because I became so used to living through it, instead of my state of consciousness and spiritual heart. I really see how it has caused a lot of unnecessary pain and suffering in my life throughout the years. I liked Higher Self’s emphasis on this world and everything manifest being temporary and not permanent. That part I needed to hear and it really ‘hit home’ because sometimes I lose sight of this. I also appreciate you reminding us that it will take time for the ego to decompose. Sometimes I wonder about this and it seems to pull me back into it. I appreciate you showing us how to make a conscious choice to stay in a state of clarity and oneness with our true Self. I will remind myself more often to look to the silence and that part of me that is being aware. Thank you for this message!

This is a profound teaching! I think this is one of the lessons that I have had to learn lately. You try to make progress along the way, but if you don’t hold on to these two beliefs, the progress is very limited. I had got to this experience a few months ago, but somehow lost it again. Well, I’m not losing it now! It’s my experience that one should work with the tools and knowledge that one can relate to based on personal practice and experience, and cast that aside which cannot yet be personally proved. But this surely can!
